Stonewater House Vegan B&B overlooks Lamlash Bay, Holy Isle and the old Lamlash Pier, and is the perfect base for a stay on the Isle of Arran, whatever the time of year. Also known as Scotland in Miniature and just over 50 miles from Glasgow, Arran boasts everything from scenic walks and mountain climbing, castles and caves, to boating activities and beautiful beaches. At Stonewater House we are proud of our plant based cuisine - we believe we serve the best breakfasts around. Our extensive vegan breakfast menu has something for everyone to enjoy, whether you're vegan or not. Begin with fresh fruit juice or a fruit smoothie, continue with sweet or savoury oatmeal porridge, a choice of overnight chia puddings or carrot oats, fruit kebabs, muesli or granola, and finish up with our signature sausage piece, buckwheat pancakes with fruit and maple syrup, a TLT (you've never had tofu like this before!), or go all out for a big breakfast with homemade vegan haggis, mushrooms cooked in Carol's special sauce, air fried potatoes, sausages and our own tofu "bacon", and a scrambled tofu that is simply delicious. Check out our website or Facebook page to see more. Our breakfasts will fill you up, but if you're planning a day's hike we can provide a packed lunch comprised of wraps, fruit, snacks and a drink that won't leave you hungry. Guests have complimented Carol and Jules on the comfort and cleanliness of the bedrooms, and their attention to detail, from the little extras like tea, coffee, cold drinking water, fruit and snacks provided in the bedrooms, to the Faith In Nature vegan toiletries in the en-suite bathrooms. On arrival you'll be offered a coffee or something from our ethically sourced teas menu. Whether you're a seasoned visitor to Arran, or this is your first visit, come and stay with us at Stonewater House. We guarantee you'll want to come back!
