Arran has something for everyone. Whether you’re 8 or 80, our island’s stunning environment is calling you to get out there and embrace your island-time with a variety of activities.

If adventure is your thing then look no further, we have sea kayaking, horse riding, canyoning, hillwalking, mountain biking, golf, archery, abseiling and lots more, all offering opportunity to really get to see, hear, smell and feel what Arran is all about. Equipment for most activities can be hired if need be, and expert guidance is offered in all pursuits listed.

If you’d rather keep it low key, you might want to think about low level walking around the villages, perhaps covering some of the Arran Coastal way, trying out Disc Golf or Mini Golf in Brodick, alpaca trekking, enjoying a farm tour or just taking in the stunning views that will amaze you around each corner. Many villages have putting and tennis courts which are readily available, and some have bowls which you can (literally) try your hand at.

If the weather isn’t favourable (and remember it’s only fairy rain on Arran…it’s just we can have rather big fairies) there are also lots of indoor activities, such as Brodick Castle, Arran Heritage Museum and COAST Marine Discovery Centre. If you just want to relax then you might like to enjoy an alternative holistic experience, perhaps with a treatment that invigorates you or just helps you to chillax.
