  • Fallen Rocks - Sannox

    4km, 1.5 hr easy walk on good track. Follow signs to North Sannox picnic car park from main road. The track to the Fallen Rocks is beside the sea. There are great views across the Clyde to Bute and the Cumbraes. Return to car park by same track.

  • Arran’s Community Marine Reserve No Take Zone
  • Brodick Beach

    Brodick Beach is handy for all the local amenities with a wide grassy area and play facilities for the younger members of the family.

  • Holy Isle

    Take the ferry from Lamlash and visit this tranquil spot, owned by the Samye Ling and run as a Bhuddist retreat - the islanders are very welcoming to visitors.

  • Lochranza Centre CIC

    The Lochranza Centre CIC provides field studies, activities & accommodation to visiting school groups, youth organisations, families & other interest groups. Build around the old village school the Centre has a wide range of accommodation from bunk rooms to twin en-suites. Full board is also provided. You can join have taught courses from our instructors, take part in activities such as gorge walking & canoeing or just use the Centre as an accommodation base & do your own thing. Meeting rooms, drying room, IT facilities, games room & lounges are all on site.

  • Cleats Shore

    Cleats Shore is sandy with some shingle and is Scotland's first official naturist beach - so clothing optional!

  • The Whole Island

    There's only one place to really see the whole island from - and that's the top of Goatfell!

  • Lochranza Castle

    Visit this old hall-style castle...you might even see some of our native red deer. You can wander about the ruin and pretend you're Merida!
