  • Octopus Centre

    Octopus Centre

    Visit the Octopus Centre, the UK’s first community-led MPA visitor centre, at the south end of Lamlash Green. 
    Discover an underwater world with interactive displays, videos and picture books. Our marine tank, brimming with life from Arran’s seas, is a highlight for everyone. 
    The Octopus Centre is suitable for all ages, there is full access for wheelchair users and we also have wifi and public toilets.

  • Glenashdale Falls

    Does exactly what it says on the tin - beautiful! Walk up to the Giant's Graves and cross into Glanashdale for another stunning view of Holy Isle and the Firth of Clyde.

  • Glen Cloy and Fairy Glen

    An easy circuit from Brodick through woodland along forestry roads and good footpaths. 10km, 3 to 4 hrs start at Glen Cloy, follow farm track and signs to Glen Dubh, then forest track to the top of the hill, when you reach the main road take the track to the left down the fairy glen arriving back in Brodick at Glenartney Guest House.

  • Kildonan Castle

    Kildonan Castle stands out on the old raised beach behind and above the village

  • The view from the top of the String road (B880) into Brodick

    On a clear day you can see right over to Ayrshire. There's a lay-by for this viewpoint - take a wide angled lens with you to make the most of the stunning scenery!

  • Brodick

    Brodick is the largest village on the island, and offers visitors the best selection of services on Arran. Brodick is strung out along the landward side of the main road forming the village promenade. Here you will find shops, cafes and hotels. Brodick also home to the main ferry terminal and the tourist information centre which is located close to the ferry terminal.

  • Whiting Bay Beach

    In Whiting Bay the beach runs from Sandbraes right through to the village at low tide. Easily accessible, the beach at the village end has a small jetty - the remains of what was at one time the longest pier on the Clyde!

  • Glen Rosa

    wander up the track and over the bridges until you reach the 'blue pool' - ideal for a quick dip after a walk. The scenery is stunning - no matter which direction you choose to look!
